Junsheng PSB drainage-panel production lines
The official PSB table lists five configurations for making drainage panels. Width and kg/h do not alone define saleable output; the offered resin, geometry, tooling, utilities and downstream scope must be agreed together.
Compare one complete column at a time
| Configuration | PSB-2000 | PSB-3000 | PSB-4000 | PSB-5000 | JS-PSB2000S |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Product width, mm | 2000 | 3000 | 4000 | 5000 | 2000 |
| Screw diameter, mm | 135 | 150 | 180 | 150 × 2 | 120 × 2 |
| L/D ratio | 30:1 | 30:1 | 30:1 | 30:1 | 30:1 |
| Listed output, kg/h | 400 | 500 | 700 | 1000 | 500 |
| Installed capacity, kW | 252 | 320 | 410 | 550 | 320 |
| “Power consumption”, kW | 132 | 160 | 220 | 300 | 160 |
| Listed L × W × H, m | 22 × 4 × 2.8 | 22 × 5 × 2.8 | 22 × 6 × 2.8 | 23 × 6 × 2.8 | 22 × 6 × 2.8 |
| Listed total mass, t | 16 | 20 | 28 | 35 | 21 |
The table lists a common line-speed range of 2–6 m/min. It does not assign a verified speed/output operating point for every resin, width and geometry. [1] The duplicated 2000 mm width does not make PSB-2000 and JS-PSB2000S equivalent: their published screws, output, power, footprint and mass differ. Ask for the process and tooling distinction in the offered configuration.
The “× 2” screw entries are preserved as published. They do not by themselves explain whether a quote uses two extruders, the layer arrangement, feed system or how each unit is controlled. Obtain the actual process schematic and bill of equipment. The range photograph is not labelled with a model; it must not be used to identify a pictured installation as PSB-5000.
Translate kg/h into your panel’s area—then test it
The same mass throughput can produce different areas when panel mass per square metre changes. For a proposed product, divide saleable kg/h by measured kg/m² to estimate saleable m²/h. Specify whether the supplied output is gross extrusion throughput or acceptable finished rolls, and keep trim/startup/reject accounting explicit.
If a trial actually delivers 400 saleable kg/h at a measured 0.8 kg/m², the result is 500 m²/h. Those trial assumptions are examples, not documented PSB-2000 test results. If 400 kg/h includes material later trimmed or rejected, it cannot be called 500 saleable m²/h.
Width × measured line speed × 60 provides another area-rate check when width and speed refer to the same finished product and steady run. It does not validate the catalogue’s maximum settings. Ask the supplier to reconcile the mass and area figures with the material recipe, panel geometry, sampling method and run conditions.
Why are the two power rows not interchangeable?
The official table uses kW for both “installed capacity” and “power consumption.” kW is power, not energy per roll or kWh/kg. No reviewed measurement conditions are given for the smaller power figure. Request connected-load details for installation and an agreed measured-power/energy protocol for production costing. Do not treat 132 kW as a guaranteed PSB-2000 operating demand.

Geometry and material
The official description gives a 0.5–5.5 mm thickness range and widths up to 5000 mm. Its current height row lists 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 18, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50 and 60 mm. [1] Ask which dimension “thickness” denotes and which resin/width/tool supports your selected height. A family-wide list is not evidence every combination is available on one machine.
Changeover and downstream work
The supplier describes dimple changes on the forming roller, round/square tooling and double-colour production on a different model. Identify exactly what must be changed for your product set, how the changeover is performed and which parts are included. Do not assume a PSB column includes a double-colour configuration.
Include hole pattern, nonwoven/fabric specification, lamination method where applicable, edge details and winding format. The optional-equipment page mentions dosing, online measurement, marking and automated handling. [2] Require each option’s inclusion, operating range and interface to appear in the proposal.
Compression, drainage capacity and long-term behaviour of the finished panel require the project’s applicable material tests. The website’s comparative strength and savings claims have no reviewed test baseline here. A production-line catalogue is not a finished-panel engineering approval.
The listed footprint leaves installation questions open
| Interface | Order-specific information to obtain |
|---|---|
| Floor and access | General arrangement, maintenance clearance, loading/foundation details and unloading/assembly sequence |
| Electricity | Voltage/frequency/phase, connected load, circuit schedule, actual input requirements and customer connection points |
| Process services | Cooling-water conditions, required air/services, material preparation and any exhaust provisions |
| Roll handling | Finished-roll diameter/mass, winding arrangement, handling equipment, storage and packing responsibilities |
| Controls and service | Control configuration, backup files, approved substitutions, manuals, spares and commissioning/training scope |
The catalogue’s total tonnes are not individual shipping-package masses or floor point loads. Ask for packing dimensions, lifting instructions and loads on the actual foundation layout. Confirm who supplies each service and who takes responsibility for achieving the agreed result after site commissioning.
Define a representative trial and repeatable handover
- Approve inputs. Record resin/recipe, product drawing, forming tool and equipment configuration.
- Agree the run. Define stabilisation, run duration, sampling, dimensional tolerances and acceptable finished-roll criteria.
- Record results together. Width, mass/area, relevant panel dimensions, saleable throughput, scrap and measured electrical use need the same test conditions.
- Preserve the setup. Deliver settings, manuals, traceable parts and training so the site trial can reproduce the accepted factory result.
Agree corrective action and repeat-testing arrangements before payment milestones. The reviewed page supplies no authenticated order-specific trial, guaranteed output on a given recipe, lead time or price. A quotation and signed acceptance protocol are necessary to fill those gaps.
