16011 straight male SAE ORB fitting

Jingye’s 16011 detail lists eleven straight male ORB references for braided hose. The thread, hose end, O-ring and crimp assembly must be selected together.

Use the complete reference

Thread and hose size are independent selections.

The source’s 16011-06-05 and 16011-06-06 share a 9/16″ × 18 thread but specify different hose DN/dash values. The similar-looking part number does not make the hose ends interchangeable. [1]

All eleven source rows shown. This lookup does not approve compatibility.

The larger-thread notation “1.1/16” and “1.5/16” is retained as published. Obtain the supplier’s controlled thread designation and port drawing for the order. O904–O916 are source codes; they do not state seal compound or fluid/temperature compatibility.

A is not the complete fitting length

In the official section drawing, E identifies the port thread. A runs from the port-end face to the shoulder before the hose-tail section; C marks a shorter port-end dimension; S1 identifies the hex dimension. [1] The hose tail continues beyond A. Do not use A as overall length or as the finished crimped assembly’s clearance.

Port engagement
Request the mating port specification, seal seat and controlled installation instructions.
Wrench and routing space
Check the full outline, ferrule and assembled hose bend/routing—not only S1 or A.
O-ring sealing
Confirm exact seal dimensions/compound and the port interface. Thread engagement alone does not define the seal.

ISO 11926-1 describes inch-thread O-ring port connections. [3] This reference supports identifying the interface; it does not prove this fitting or its assembly complies with every applicable requirement.

What remains necessary for a working hose assembly

Published here

Straight ORB construction, eleven size entries and braided-hose use. The site offers carbon/stainless material selections without establishing an exact grade/finish for every reference.

Obtain for the selected offer

Exact material/finish and seal, compatible hose/ferrule, crimp/preparation instructions, allowable service envelope and assembly acceptance evidence.

  1. Identify the hose. Maker, type, construction, DN/dash and applicable hose specification.
  2. Approve the assembly combination. Exact fitting/ferrule references and controlled preparation/crimp dimensions from the responsible supplier.
  3. Agree the service and test basis. Fluid, temperature, duty, pressure and qualified inspection/test procedure with acceptance limits.

No working pressure, temperature range, torque or service-life value is assigned from a generic catalogue claim. A quality-system certificate and a brand-replacement description do not supply those missing part/assembly ratings.

Resolve the construction before comparing quotations

The 16011SW table has different construction and dimension fields. [2] Do not compare an A value across those drawings without checking both dimension origins and endpoints.

Can this be approved as a replacement from a competitor code?

A cross-reference is a candidate for review. Compare the controlled port, hose/ferrule combination, material/seal, operating envelope and acceptance evidence. No authorized or validated drop-in interchangeability is established here.
