Overlapping carrier bands need a second check
The official catalogue’s first page associates these six entries with excavator weights. [2] The range describes the carrier, not the attachment’s mass.
| Earth-drill entry | Suggested excavator mass |
|---|---|
| 2500 | 1–3 t |
| 3500 | 2–4.5 t |
| 4500 | 2.5–5 t |
| 7000 | 5–7 t |
| 8000 | 6–8 t |
| 15000 | 8–15 t |
A 3 t excavator falls into several bands. Ask for a proposal based on the hole and ground, then verify auxiliary flow/pressure and installation. The model numbers are not independently established torque values.
The official image lists 25–65 L/min flow, 65–210 bar oil pressure and 150–500 mm drilling diameter, among other values. [4] These belong to that model’s supplier sheet and should not be transferred to 3500 or larger entries.
Build a quotation with identifiable parts
Drive and carrier connection
Full model/configuration, hitch/bracket, pins or coupler, hoses/connections and installation envelope.
Ground-engaging tools
Auger diameter/length, pilot, teeth, shaft connection and any extensions selected for the described material and depth.
Wear and service package
Replacement tooth/pilot/coupling references, illustrated parts identification, maintenance documents and actual support terms.
The 2500 image shows side-shift, double-pin and hanger bracket options, and 65 mm round, 2-inch hex and 57 mm square output-shaft references. It also names CM140/CM180 mixer bowls. [4] Illustrations/options do not mean all those items are included in one drive-head price.
The detail page describes a planetary gearbox and a single-piece shaft retained in the housing. [3] Its absolute safety/life and comparative bearing-size statements are supplier claims, not an CivilEquip engineering assessment. Ask for the selected unit’s documentation and inspection evidence.
Other attachment families need separate selection
Ningbo Yinzhou Tysang Machinery Company Ltd. states a 2015 start in Yinzhou and a design/manufacture/sales role. Its company introduction names earth drills, drum cutters, mixer bowls, rock saws, trenchers, hydraulic shears and hedge trimmers for excavators. [1] A drill carrier range cannot approve a rock saw or cutter.
- Role stated by company
- Attachment design, manufacture, sales and related service
- Parts support statement
- Technical help and genuine TYSANG replacement parts; delivery and coverage require actual terms
- Current public manual gap
- The download index shows zero records. Request the actual model manual and parts drawing directly.
Supplier counters are not independently verified customer or staff totals. No factory visit, witnessed field productivity test or authenticated current certificate is claimed by CivilEquip. The empty download index is a document-availability gap, not evidence that the supplier owns no manuals. [5]
Tool selection and site approval are different decisions
Send ground information and known obstacles along with hole geometry. The supplier’s “soft / medium / hard” depth table does not define geotechnical classes or prove performance at your site. An actual trial can test the proposed tooling against agreed conditions.
HSE’s HSG47 overview separates work planning, locating/identifying underground services and safe excavation. [6] Use this as context for assigning site responsibility, alongside applicable local requirements; choosing an attachment does not clear a site for drilling.
