Five motor types, each with its first question

LSWR lists these families in its company introduction. [1] Pick the mechanism from your duty. Labels such as construction, marine or drilling describe where a motor goes, and several mechanisms can carry the same label. The QJM category groups its entries by application, including a marine motor, and has no numerical selection table. [2] Ask LSWR to quote a selected configuration with its full code. A generic “engineering machinery motor” is too vague to price.
Decide what the quote covers
Motor or steering component
Name the component, output connection, ports and operating requirements. LSWR sells steering units as their own product line, apart from the QJM motors.
Geared swing / travel drive
List the included motor, reduction, output interface, braking and controls. Say who installs it and which machine it drives.
Winch / capstan package
Give the drum and rope arrangement, the basis for the rated load, the duty and the load-control equipment. Ask what LSWR will assemble and test in its own plant.
LSWR sells drive devices and winches next to its motors. [1] A winch load rating belongs to the whole package, so a motor torque figure is only one input. Line up offers on the same hardware, engineering documents and acceptance terms, then compare price.
Company name, address and sites
LSWR’s business licence image shows the name 宁波力士威迩液压传动有限公司, an address at 1801 Zhenluo East Road and an establishment date of 4 August 2005. [4] The image is a historical copy. Ask for a current registration extract and the name of the company that will sign your contract.
The company introduction places LSWR’s bases in Ningbo and Wuhu. Its last paragraph also names “中意公司” (Zhongyi). [1] Ask LSWR how Zhongyi relates to it, which company will build your unit, and which one carries warranty and support.
Factory size, output and order records
LSWR reports more than 124,000 m² across two bases and annual production and sales of 300,000 units. It also lists R&D facilities and awards. [1] An older version of its text gave 110,000 m². The current introduction carries the larger figure.
The workshop gallery shows the factory floor and its equipment. [5] For your order, ask which operations and tests your unit goes through, how it is marked, and which records ship with it. LSWR says its products replace imports. For a replacement, ask for a written interchange approval against your existing unit and say whether any OEM authorization applies. Put available capacity and the delivery date in the quote.
Keep the approved full code and drawings, the agreed operating and acceptance conditions, the unit identification and the change-control terms. Get a parts and service document and a remedy clause written into the quotation. An online contact channel is no substitute for a written warranty.
