Start with the mechanism being driven
Company-wide applications are not machine-model approvals.
宁波赫威液压科技有限公司 identifies its operation in Xiepu, Zhenhai, Ningbo, and describes research, manufacture and sale of hydraulic motors, planetary reducers and winches. The introduction names screw, drum, swing and tracked/wheeled travel mechanisms. [1] These help route an enquiry; they do not authenticate a specific installed machine.
Motor only
Define shaft torque/speed and duty, mounting and coupling loads. Establish who supplies the reducer, control valves and brake.
Swing or travel drive
Define motor/reducer package, output ratio and mounting. Include the rotating structure or wheel/track connection, starting duty and braking requirements.
Winch assembly
Define drum, rope and layer basis for line pull/speed. Confirm brake, load control, structure and acceptance scope rather than ordering from motor torque alone.
The manuals provide a more useful route than a photograph
The electronic catalogue’s contents identify HIM external-five-star motors, HGM internal-five-star motors, KM, HBM and HCA motor families, oil distributors, HJP/HYP/H300P swing reducers, HLW/HDW travel reducers and HYJ winches. [2] The separate file labelled MS sample contains MS-series documentation. [3] Both are supplier literature, not evidence of ownership or authorization from brands used in comparison headings.
| Catalogue detail actually available | How to use it in a quotation review |
|---|---|
| HIM order-code explanation: output shaft, distributor and installation orientation | Ask for every applicable code position and a drawing matching the selected variant. |
| Separate displacement/rated pressure/maximum pressure/torque/speed rows | Keep a row’s labels and the actual operating point together. Do not combine unrelated maxima. |
| HIM shaft and mounting alternatives | Mark the coupling, flange, pilot and ports that must match the host machine. |
| Different motor, reducer and winch chapters | Return one supplied-assembly drawing and a bill of included elements. |
For example, printed pages 01–04 explain HIM structure, coding, a model table and HIM1 installation alternatives. They are HIM documentation. The website’s “001” orbital entry remains a different reference without a proven cross-reference to that table. [4]
The 64-page PDF uses two-page spreads: PDF page 6 contains printed pages 03–04. Cite the family, full code and printed page/revision to avoid asking about a different model.
Replacement and new design need different inputs
- Replacement unit
- Existing nameplate, mounting/shaft/port drawing, circuit and the installation’s unchanged interfaces.
- New mechanism
- Output torque/speed or line pull/speed, start-stop duty, available hydraulic supply, loads and mounting envelope.
- Delivered assembly
- Motor, reducer, brake, valves, drum or hub inclusion; parts identities and the party responsible for integration.
Hewell markets customization and domestic alternatives. That is not an approved drop-in replacement. Agree a dimensional and duty comparison, identify differences requiring machine changes, and obtain the selected configuration’s limits and instructions.
A performance request should define oil conditions, pressure/flow, speed/torque and measurement method. ISO 4409’s publisher abstract covers steady-state testing and presentation for rotating positive-displacement components. [6] It does not establish an actual Hewell test or approve the assembled mechanism.
Inspect the process evidence behind the proposed supply
The public equipment page currently reports no content. [5] That prevents a machine-inventory claim; it does not demonstrate that the factory has no machines. Request the operations performed at the quoted site, bought-in/subcontracted elements, inspection records and an actual proposed-unit test report.
The company/manufacturer description is self-reported. No factory visit, independently measured capacity, authenticated current quality certificate or delivered customer installation is claimed by CivilEquip. Separate these supplier-qualification documents from the configuration approval.
- 1
Fix the code and package
Agree the controlled drawing, included components and operating point.
- 2
Review the evidence
Obtain relevant dimensional and bench records tied to the proposed supply, and define the buyer’s assembled-machine trial.
- 3
Close the support boundary
Record installation documents, replacement parts, warranty conditions, delivery and change control in the actual offer.
Describe the output before requesting a price
